Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients - Review and process insurance claims - Ensure accurate coding of dental procedures and diagnoses - Maintain patient records and update insurance information as needed - Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues or denials - Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and coverage - Collaborate with dental team to ensure proper documentation for billing purposes - Stay up-to-date on changes in insurance regulations and coding guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting, minimum of 2 years preferred - Strong knowledge of dental terminology, ADA coding systems - Familiarity with managed care plans and insurance billing procedures - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively with effective time management skills - Professional attitude and appearance - Ability to be resourceful and proactive to solve issues as they arise Note:
