Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos - Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service - Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness of the coffee station - Handle cash transactions - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed - Follow all food safety and handling procedures - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation.
- Interacting with guests in a friendly fashion.
- Understanding basic liquors and ingredients.
- Understanding of basic cocktails, recipes, and methods of production.
- Adhering to standards of service and the proper techniques of creating cocktails.
- Learning how to make current menu cocktails and furthering personal education of other classic cocktails.
- Learning and relaying the details of wine list, beer list, and cocktail menu.
- Guiding guests through our experience.
- Learning Food Menu offerings, techniques behind each dish, and the intention of why it is on our menu.
Relaying this to the guest in a proper fashion.
- Not shaking a Negroni, Manhattan, or Old Fashioned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista/bartender is preferred - Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations - Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management skills to ensure timely order preparation and service Note:
