Summary of Position:
Responsible for providing requirements in relation to aviation fuel sales and other aircraft needs.
Essential Duties:
Perform fuel quality testing prior to delivery into aircraft.
Provide fuel and other basic aircraft services for customers both private and corporate.
Perform ground handling of aircraft.
Maintain records of fuel quality, deliveries, and fuel inventory.
Assist maintenance department as time permits with work not requiring a certified mechanic.
Perform housekeeping duties for offices and the shop hanger areas.
Perform outside facilities maintenance and lawn care.
Maintain equipment including automobiles, aircraft maintenance equipment, and lawn care equipment.
Provide all incoming aircraft with traffic advisories.
Marshall aircraft and assist with aircraft movement and cleaning.
Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety requirements, OSHA, and environmental policies.
Non-Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Greet passengers and flight crew.
Assists with fuel, baggage, and craft service needs.
Arrange services for customers for peripheral needs including but not limited to:
catering services, rental cars, and hotel reservations Payment collection for various services.
Answering phones.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift 35 pounds and occasionally 65 pounds; fuel nozzle and hose, cases of oil, miscellaneous parts, and supplies.
Ability to climb a six-foot step ladder for fueling operations:
number of times varies with aircraft type.
Ability to climb stairs, and clean upstairs offices, and restrooms.
Ability to bend, stoop, and squat to attach towing equipment to aircraft for transport, washing and detailing aircraft, vacuuming, trash removal, cleaning restrooms, and lawn maintenance.
Work Environment:
An employee in this position is exposed to outside weather conditions:
wet, humid, cold, and heat.
The noise level in the work environment is at times moderately loud.
Required Education:
High School Diploma / GED / Equivalent or Higher.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
